Employment rights and responsibilities.
This is a full-time, permanent work-based Apprenticeship in health and social care. You enjoy on-the-job training towards nationally recognised qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, guided by our professional assessors who provide one-to-one support and advice throughout your programme.
Apprentices usually start their training at Level 2, depending on their qualifications and ability. This is identified at an initial assessment.
What skills will I gain?
The course content covers the following subject areas:
Eating and drinking
Moving and handling
Pressure care
Health and safety
Communication
Who should apply?
Anyone can apply for this course who is interested in a care career path. As long as you are aged 16 to 64 and not in full-time education we can help. You might already have a job and be looking for work-based training, or you might want to find a job that comes with training through esg. We have great relationships with hundreds of local businesses and will help you find your career path.
How long does this does take?
Health and Social Care Apprenticeship - 8 months.
Health and Social Care Advanced Apprenticeship - 10 months.
